The light works great, lighting is very powerful, although you can control the level of lighting, it has several static colors and an RGB mode that changes color gradually. You can stand it on the table without any problem, perfect for stream. The material is plastic, and although it appears to be of poor quality, it is not. I am very happy with my purchase.
